Plainview Milk Products Cooperative ingredients

This is to inform you of a voluntary product recall involving products manufactured with ingredients recalled by Plainview Milk Products Cooperative (Plainview). Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated and necessary to prevent potential consumer harm.

This recall has been initiated due to potential Salmonella contamination of Plainview Products. Although, all product sampling conducted by the Food and Drug Administration, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, and Plainview of the Plainview products impacted by this recall have produced negative results for Salmonella, Salmonella was found to be present in Plainview's manufacturing facility. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with these products. A copy of Plainview's Recall Notice is attached to this letter for your review.

As part of Myogenix's standard operating procedure, every batch of Myolean Evolution, including the lot numbers below, is tested for Salmonella before it is sold. See attached laboratory assays. None of those samples tested positive for the presence of Salmonella. Myogenix, Inc. has not received any reports of illness related to these products. Nevertheless, because consumer safety is Myogenix's top priority, Myogenix is voluntarily recalling the below listed products.

The products subject to the recall are listed below by Lot Number. These Lot Numbers are the only ones subject to this recall. The Lot Number is listed on the lid of all Myogenix Evolution protein jugs.
