SAN Corp. Issues Recall of Selected Lots of MyoJuiced Products

Dear Valued SAN Customer,

SAN was just notified by one of its Milk Protein Suppliers (Milk Specialties, Eden Prairie, MN) that two raw material lot numbers of purchased Milk Protein Isolate & Calcium Caseinate are on voluntary recall by the FDA. It appears that a agglomerater called “Plainview Milk Products” working for Milk Specialties was red tagged by the FDA for potential Salmonella contamination. SAN takes this notice very seriously and we therefore researched & identified the products that contain the Milk Protein Isolate & Calcium Caseinate in question. (SAN is currently awaiting independent test results by Covance which are scheduled to be posted by 07.06.09) With that said:

NO ILLNESSES HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO DATE IN CONNECTION WITH THESE MATERIALS/SAN PRODUCTS AND INDEPENDENT LAB TESTING ON THE BELOW REFERENCED SAN’s ARE PENDING AT COVANCE LABORATORIES.  

1)    MyoJuiced Lot #25240 -- 25306

2)    MyoJuiced Lot #25239 -- 25305

Because of the seriousness of this situation, this voluntary recall extends to the end user level. This means that “ALL” levels of distribution down to the end user need to be notified. We recommend including a copy of this recall letter/email to all downstream consignees who may have received these recalled product lots in question. Replacement product is available (with raw materials not purchased through Milk Specialties) if you choose to exchange the SAN MyoJuiced.
